Hey, I’m Dan!
I’ve been working in the music industry for over a decade. Like most of you I started by playing an instrument (drums) in local bands with big dreams and aspirations.
When I was in high school I took my first stab at recording. That was enough for me to get the itch and have been pursuing production ever since.
In the 10+ years Since…
…I have toured North America and Europe as a Front of House Engineer/Tour Manager, engineered in multimillion dollar recording studios and worked with some amazing artists.
Through all these experiences I’ve learned a lot.
How copying settings from other mixers just doesn’t work.
What compression sounds like
How to use an EQ effectively.
Being able to look ahead three steps to not mix yourself into a corner.
Experiment with all the different tools/plugins to figure out what best helps get me to my sonic goal.
Wasting money on different plugins thinking that would be the thing that takes my mix to the next level (spoiler…it isn’t)
Treating my room, experimenting with speaker placement, measuring the response…all just to know what I’m hearing is detailed and accurate.

I will only work with artists that I truly believe I can be of service to. I’ve made every mistake in the book and learned from them over the course of 10 years so you don’t have to.

Mixing is a collaborative process. I’ll ask for reference tracks, your creative input, and any notes you have about tone or vibe. You’ll receive a preview mix (“vibe check”) and 2 revisions to ensure it hits exactly the sound you're going for.

You absolutely can—but there’s a difference between mixing for clarity and mixing for impact. I bring not just tools, but trained ears, technical know-how, and objectivity that’s hard to get when you’re mixing your own material. Especially in dense, aggressive genres like metal, a pro mix can be the difference between “pretty good” and “crushing.”

Let’s talk now! I’m happy to give tracking tips to ensure your recordings are mix-ready. Early input can save time and get better results down the line.

Yes, I will typically ask for half upfront to lock your spot on the calendar. If the mixes don’t pass the “vibe check” then this is 100% refundable.

You’ll receive your first mix 48 hours after the scheduled start date. Provided I have received all necessary files. For final mix/masters we will set a date on which you will receive your files on or before. To make sure we hit that target please be sure to respond to any communication as quickly as possible and get revisions notes to me within 24 hours of receiving the mix. Not doing so could result in delays

I do! In fact I work out of some beautiful studios in Central Pennsylvania. If you’re looking to record just let me know via the “Get in Touch” form and we can discuss.

First and foremost you get a polished radio ready mix/master that you’re going to love. You’ll also receive the processed stereo stems of individual instrument groups, acapella mixes, and instrumental mixes. If you need prints for backing tracks w/click when playing live let me know and I can provide that as well for a small fee.
